The brief was straightforward: a 1900s terrace that had never been properly opened to its garden. We added a new rear extension with full-width bifold sliders, a dormer loft for a principal bedroom, and rewired, re-plumbed and replastered throughout. The whole build ran to 14 weeks on site.
Joinery is pale oak throughout — kitchen, wardrobes, WC cabinet — set against white render walls and a dark-green tiled WC tucked under the stairs. The kitchen was shifted toward the back wall so morning light now reaches the living room for the first time.
The result is a home that feels entirely new without announcing itself. The street elevation is unchanged. The garden does the work.
