What happens when you instruct us.
For insurers, loss adjusters, TPAs and claims networks. Here is the process from first contact through to sign-off, and what we need from you at each point.
- 01
First contact
Call or send the claim details and we respond with availability and an initial view. For an emergency make-safe, call rather than email — we attend 24/7 and the phone is the fastest route to a crew. - 02
Onboarding
If you are adding us to a panel, we send the compliance pack: accreditations, insurance certificates, method statements, risk assessments and references. [PLACEHOLDER: standard onboarding turnaround — see CONTENT-NEEDED.md.] - 03
Site attendance
We attend, make safe where needed, and document the damage — photographs, measurements and a written scope. That documentation is what the schedule of works is built from, and it goes to you rather than sitting with us. - 04
Scope and cost
An itemised schedule of works priced line by line against the damage documented. Where the policy position on an item is unclear we flag it rather than pricing around it, so the adjuster decides rather than discovering it later. - 05
Reinstatement
One contractor for the whole reinstatement — strip-out, structure, services, finishes and making good — with a named project manager and progress reporting throughout. No subcontractor chain for you to chase. - 06
Sign-off
Completion documentation, certificates, and the 12-month workmanship warranty on second-fix fittings. Variations raised during the works are documented and priced as they arise, not aggregated into a surprise at the end.
And what doesn’t happen
- No consumer sales process — this is a B2B instruction, not a quote request.
- No charge for attending to scope a claim we have been instructed on.
- No pricing around an unclear policy position: we flag it for the adjuster.
- No subcontractor chain — one contractor, one accountable named contact.
Claims and panel questions, answered straight.
Does 2VP work on insurance reinstatement claims?
Yes — managed building repairs and reinstatement for insurers, loss adjusters, TPAs, claims and repair networks, brokers and MGAs. We take both panel appointments and individual claim instructions. This is a separate part of the business from our domestic design-and-build work, though it is the same trades and the same project management.
How do I add 2VP to our contractor panel?
Send us your onboarding requirements and we return the compliance pack: accreditations, insurance certificates, method statements, risk assessments and references. We are CHAS accredited and carry £17m of insurance cover (£5m public liability, £10m employer's liability, £2m professional indemnity) plus contract works all-risk. [PLACEHOLDER: typical onboarding turnaround — see CONTENT-NEEDED.md.]
What perils do you reinstate?
Escape of water, fire and smoke, storm and flood, impact, subsidence-related making good, and malicious damage. We handle the full reinstatement rather than a single trade, which on a multi-peril claim means one contractor and one schedule rather than a sequence of specialists who each need coordinating.
Do you attend emergency make-safe?
Yes, 24/7. Call 020 8050 8968 — for an emergency the phone reaches a crew faster than any form on this page. Make-safe is documented and photographed as it is carried out, so the evidence for the claim is captured before anything is disturbed.
What areas do you cover for insurance work?
West and south-west London from our base at 20 Dawes Road, Fulham SW6 — including Chelsea, Hammersmith, Putney, Battersea, Wandsworth, Chiswick, Clapham, Notting Hill, Kensington and Wimbledon. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm the full coverage radius for claims work, which may be wider than the domestic catchment — see CONTENT-NEEDED.md.]
How do you handle variations during a reinstatement?
Documented and priced as they arise, sent to the adjuster for authorisation before the work is done. Hidden damage is common once a strip-out starts, particularly on escape-of-water claims where the full extent is not visible at first inspection. Raising each one at the point of discovery keeps the claim reserve accurate rather than moving it late.
What reporting do you provide during the claim?
Progress reporting through the works with photographic evidence, and completion documentation with certificates at sign-off. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm reporting format and frequency offered to insurer and TPA clients, and whether it maps to specific KPI requirements — see CONTENT-NEEDED.md.]
Who is liable if reinstatement work is defective?
2V Projects Ltd, company number 14122250, under a 12-month workmanship warranty on second-fix fittings, backed by £2m professional indemnity and £5m public liability cover. There is no subcontractor chain to pursue — we are the contractor, we hold the contract, and one named person is accountable for the claim from instruction to sign-off.

One contractor.
One named contact.
One signature on the contract.
2V Projects Ltd is owned and run by Vladimir Castravet, who signs every contract personally. On a claim that means no call centre and no subcontractor chain to chase — your adjuster deals with the person accountable for the reinstatement.
Builds for London’s most demanding clients, including specialist fit-outs at the V&A Museum, Moncler and the South Bank cinema complex. On every 2VP site weekly. Signs every contract personally.
