Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

2V Projects Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 14122250). Our registered office is 20 Dawes Road, London, SW6 7EN. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

We only collect data you give us directly — typically:

• Your name, email, phone number and project postcode (via the cost calculator and contact forms)
• Your project brief, if you share it with us
• Technical information automatically captured by our analytics (anonymised IP, referrer, device type) — used only to improve the site

We do not buy data about you, build profiles to sell, or share your details with advertisers. Where advertising cookies are used, it is only to measure whether an advert we paid for brought you here — and only if you agree to it. See section 7.

If you use the AI estimating assistant, what you type is sent to Anthropic to generate a reply. Do not put anything in that chat you would not put in an email.

3. How we use your data

• To prepare and send your cost estimate
• To contact you about the specific project you enquired about
• To send the Cost Guide PDF if you request it (and one follow-up message only, never more unless you reply)
• To comply with legal and accounting obligations

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry data: kept for 12 months unless you become a client. Client project data: kept for 6 years after project completion (tax, VAT and insurance obligations). You can request deletion at any time by emailing hi@2vp.uk.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your details. We share them only with:

• Nick Elias Architects, our design partner, if your project includes design work
• HomePro Ltd, our guarantee underwriter, limited to warranty registration
• HMRC and our accountants, for legal/financial reporting

We also use these suppliers to run the service. They process your data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes:

• GoHighLevel — our CRM, where your enquiry is stored so we can reply to it
• Google (Sheets, Drive) — where estimates and enquiry records are filed
• Resend — sends the emails you receive from us
• Anthropic — powers the AI estimating assistant, if you use it
• Google Analytics and, with your consent, Meta — site measurement and advert reporting

Some of these are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

No marketing lists. No resale. Ever.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can ask us to (a) see what data we hold about you, (b) correct it, (c) delete it, (d) stop using it, (e) port it to another provider. Email hi@2vp.uk with your request. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not happy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

7. Cookies

When you first arrive you’ll see a banner asking what you allow. Nothing beyond the necessary category is switched on until you choose — if you ignore the banner, or close it, nothing optional runs.

• Necessary — session, security and your saved form answers. Always on; the site does not work without them.
• Analytics — Google Analytics, so we can see which pages get read and where people give up. Only with your permission.
• Marketing — Google and Meta advertising cookies, used to measure whether an advert we paid for brought you here. Only with your permission.

We use Google Consent Mode, which means Google is told whether you agreed before any measurement happens.

Changed your mind? Click Cookies at the bottom of any page. You can withdraw permission as easily as you gave it, at any time.
