An interior renovation company, by trade rather than by room
Interior construction is everything inside the envelope once the structure is standing: partitions and linings, joinery, kitchens and bathrooms, floor and wall finishes, and the services that run behind all of it. The reason it is worth naming as one capability is that it is usually bought as six — a kitchen company, a joiner, a tiler, an electrician, and somebody to coordinate them who is not on site.
Here it is one contract and one named project lead, with the joinery from Selection.Works and the glazing from AtoZ Design & Glass. Both are our own companies. That is not a claim about quality, it is a claim about who answers when a lead time slips.

Wardrobes, storage walls, panelling and staircases, made to the millimetre in our own workshop by Selection.Works rather than bought in.
Kitchens
Cabinetry built in the same workshop, then delivered and fitted by the same team — no flat-pack, no cabinet-maker markup in between.
Bathrooms
First fix to final seal, including the parts that go wrong later: falls, tanking, and where the waste actually runs.
Commercial interiors and fit-out
Cat A and Cat B office fit-out, with partitions, glazed screens and joinery from our own companies.
Office refurbishment
The same work on a floor that has to keep trading — phased, dust-sealed, and lift-booked with the building manager.
Design and build
Where the drawings and the build sit under one contract, in collaboration with Nicholas Elias Architects.
Commercial interior fit out
On the commercial side the same trades do Cat A and Cat B office fit-out, and refurbishment of floors that stay in use. The constraint changes rather than the work: an occupied floor sets the programme, so phases are planned with the building manager, noisy first fix goes out of hours, and lift and loading slots are booked before anything arrives.
Commercial work carries no published price here, deliberately: the pricing engine holds no commercial rates, and a figure with nothing behind it is worse than none.
How it is priced, and what is guaranteed
Priced after a measured survey — £550, credited in full against the works if you proceed — with an itemised quotation across the twelve stages of the build within 48 hours of the visit. Every variation is priced, with options, and signed before it is spent.
Every contract carries a 12-month workmanship warranty on second-fix fittings, backed by 2VP and signed by the trades who did the work. Optional 10-year HomePro insurance-backed structural guarantee — arranged on request, paid by you directly to HomePro at 2.5% of the contract value — optional rather than included, and never invoiced by us.

What does an interior construction contractor actually do?
Everything inside the envelope, once the structure is there: partitions and linings, joinery, kitchens and bathrooms, floor and wall finishes, and the services that run behind them. On this site that is one contractor rather than a series of them — we hold the contract, and the joinery and glazing come from our own companies, so the two trades that most often hold a job up are ours to answer for.
Do you do commercial interiors as well as houses?
Both. The residential work is joinery, kitchens, bathrooms and whole-house refurbishment; the commercial work is office fit-out and refurbishment, including Cat A and Cat B. The difference in practice is the constraint rather than the craft: a home has people living in it and an office floor has people working in it, and each sets a different programme.
Is the joinery really made in-house?
Yes — Selection.Works is our own joinery company, and the glazing comes from AtoZ Design & Glass. That is worth asking any contractor, because a bought-in kitchen or a subcontracted screen means the lead time belongs to somebody who is not in the room when you ask about it.
