How 2VP Handles Conflict, Repairs Trust, and Protects Our Clients

In construction, even with the best systems and the strongest intentions, challenges can arise. At 2VP, we recently received a critical Google review related to a neighbour-led water damage repair — not a full project or contracted service. Here's how we responded, and why our principles never change.

The Situation

A neighbour of one of our clients experienced water damage, and although there was no direct contract between us and the reviewer, we agreed to help — at no charge — to repair the front room.

We returned multiple times, made several attempts to satisfy the concerns raised, and followed our code of conduct. Unfortunately, communication broke down, and the individual left a negative review, expressing frustration with the repair process.

Our Response Philosophy

At 2VP, we handle feedback with humility and clarity:

  1. Transparency First — We always explain the scope of works clearly.

  2. Effort to Rectify — We made multiple return visits, at no charge, to fix issues raised.

  3. Professional Tone — Our response remained polite, respectful, and truthful.

  4. Protecting Reputation Without Escalation — We acknowledged the reviewer’s frustration, clarified the facts, and avoided blame.

Why This Matters to You as a Future Client

When you choose a builder, you’re not just hiring a service — you’re trusting someone with your home, your investment, and your peace of mind. Here’s why our clients continue to recommend 2VP:

✅ Fixed Price Contracts — No guesswork, no hidden costs ✅ 40 Free Hours of Variations — Flexibility without financial fear ✅ Weekly QS Reports — You always know what’s happening ✅ Live Dashboard Access — Transparency, 24/7 ✅ HomePro 10-Year Warranty — Long-term protection

What This Review Doesn’t Change

This incident, while unfortunate, reinforces why we created Fix & Clear. To avoid grey zones. To provide clarity. And to ensure that every project — large or small — is managed with structure, not shortcuts.

We thank all clients for their trust, and we remain open to respectful dialogue whenever issues arise.
